Introducing the Minibus Lite

GM School Minibus were delighted to receive a handmade thank you card from Hennock School in return for by providing them with a Minibus Lite™ for a year free of charge. Hennock School recently got in touch with us regarding help with transport for their school to give their school children access to facilities and the outdoors. Hennock School is located within 1 mile of GM Coachwork and is the hub for Inclusion Project Programs; they work alongside larger schools serving children in areas of high deprivation. They aim to provide children within small schools with the same opportunities as larger establishments, where funding and pupil numbers are greater. When David Vooght, Chief Executive of GM received the request he was more than happy to help, he stated “it would be a pleasure to support a local school and help towards increasing in their life chances through nurturing their personal, social and emotional development.” Since having access to a Minibus Lite™ it has not only helped this one particular school, but 9 other schools in their academy and it has helped to ensure that children can partake in extracurricular activities at all times. Hennock in particular, but other schools such as Landscove, Diptford, Stoke Gabriel are remote and have no access to transport, which means that sporting events and educational trips have to be funded by parents and/or school and of course this means that these events do not always roll out due to non payments from parents or budgetary constraints from schools.
